National Volunteer Week Awareness Campaign

I was challenged to come up with a series of promos for National Volunteer Week to air on the dozens of electronic billboards at Turner offices around the world.

I had to figure out a non-eyeroll-inducing way to incorporate client-provided headshots, plus how to pay off a variety of calls to action with the visuals — as many as two per version.

Where we landed was a series of spots that combine photography and illustration, integrating color-treated photos into a cartoon environment using a window/mortise device.

In cases where there were two calls to action, I treated them as sequential endcards, morphing one into the next to show the connection between the two.

The result? A mini-campaign that couldn’t be ignored by Turner’s 15,000 employees. They were actually such a hit that I was asked to create an evergreen version to run year-round.
